The castle was erected on a slope above the famous Warm Spring in Vrnjačka Banja, commissioned by General Jovan Belimarković (1827–1906), a distinguished Minister of King Milan Obrenović and Regent to the minor King Aleksandar Obrenović.

• Period of Construction: Between 1882 and 1889.
• Architectural Inspiration: It was designed after the elegant Polish villas of Northern Italy, in the spirit of Romantic Historicism with pronounced Renaissance elements.
• Material: White marble from Belimarković’s quarry, below Mount Goč, was used for the construction.

This lavish edifice, also adorned with an attractive two-flight staircase made of white marble, is considered today to be the oldest building in Vrnjačka Banja, besides the church.

After generations of heirs lived in it, Belimarković Castle was purchased in the 1970s and declared a cultural monument of great importance for the Republic of Serbia.

Today, the castle serves as the Castle of Culture and houses the Homeland Museum of Vrnjačka Banja.

Belimarković Castle remains a symbol of elegance and a cultural-historical jewel, making it an unmissable destination for all visitors to Vrnjačka Banja.

Our involvement in this project confirms our capability to deliver comprehensive design solutions for demanding healthcare environments. The scope of work for the UCC Kragujevac project included all Internal Medicine Clinics premises.

This project focuses on the overall modernisation of the space to better support the clinic’s vital function in treating patients requiring internal medicine care. The work ensures that the Internal Medicine Clinics’ facilities meet modern standards for safety, functionality, and design, which is a key component of providing quality care.

University Clinical Centre Kragujevac (UCC Kragujevac) represents a key healthcare institution in Central Serbia. Given its status as a university centre, UCC Kragujevac also performs important educational and scientific-research activities.

Our work on the Orthopedics project is proof of our dedication to detail and ability to respond to the complex demands of designing medical facilities, where every detail is multiply important, and the generally mandatory responsibility and commitment are brought to perfection.

The project relates to the current maintenance and interior arrangement of the V sprat (5th floor), which houses the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology.

The subject of the project was the entrance hall, multi-purpose hall, cloakrooms and administrative block.

The multipurpose hall is the largest and most representative part of the building, so special attention was paid to it. Tarkett products were used to cover the floors and walls in the form of textile panels, which met all the specific needs of this space.

The building is designed in such a way that it has two units, i.e. the main building with the halls (D) and the annex with the contents of the Faculty of Arts (A). It is positioned so that the halls are in the foreground on the main road, and the faculty is in the background, in a less frequent and quieter part of the space.

Greenery surrounds the entire complex, parking is located on the ground floor level and does not disturb views and communications.

The direct connection of the two units allows students unhindered access to the contents of the halls and active participation in something that will be their profession.

However, the annex is physically and safely possible to be completely separated from the space with the halls, it also has its own spaces that provide the possibility for independent use, i.e. opening to the audience as needed.
